Autobiography: a Thin Line between Truth and Scandal

Arab autobiographies will continue to be restricted as long as the Arab climate of freedom is restricted, and as long as all documents realted to history are restricted and outside the context as well. But even those who try to become the leading writers of autobiographies should bear in mind the effect of what they are giving the public, and the magnitude of the danger that these testimonies represent in both their direct politico-social and their literary form.
